Professor Huang received his B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China, M.S. degree in Applied Science from College of William & Mary in USA, and Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2009. After that he worked as a Research Associate at University of Maryland at College Park, USA. He joined Tongji University in Shanghai as a professor in 2012.
Professor Huang has published a number of research papers in peer-refereed journals, such as Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Journal of Materials Chemistry, Organic Electronics, and Annual Review of Materials Research, et. al., and 2 book chapters. His research interests across multiple disciplines including nano-structured materials; organic semiconductors; organic electronics including solar cells, thin-film transistors and diodes; chemical and bio sensors; and graphene composite materials.
